SIGN PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS MANAGEROverviewOur client, a well-established commercial signage manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Sign Production & Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of production, team leadership, and workflow efficiency within a busy sign fabrication facility. This full-service company specializes in custom-fabricated signage, electrical signs, digital printing, and vinyl graphics, serving commercial, industrial, and municipal clients across the region.The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing a sign production team, ensuring deadlines are met, quality standards are exceeded, and customer expectations are consistently achieved. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management Lead daily sign fabrication and assembly operations, including electrical signage, vinyl cutting, digital printing, laminating, and routing.Plan and maintain production schedules to meet project timelines and delivery commitments.Streamline workflow and allocate labor efficiently to meet production goals.Uphold strict quality control standards and implement process improvements for greater efficiency. Team Leadership & Training Recruit, train, and supervise production technicians, fabricators, and installers.Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ongoing skill development.Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture that promotes accountability and excellence. Inventory & Equipment Oversight Manage inventory of materials, hardware, and electrical components.Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate timely supply replenishment.Oversee preventative maintenance and service schedules for production equipment to reduce downtime. Customer Relations & Sales Support Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication related to production timelines and quality.Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure projects meet specifications and exceed customer expectations.Assist with estimating, quoting, and scheduling production for incoming orders. Qualifications Proven management experience in sign manufacturing, graphics production, or related fabrication industry.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.Knowledge of sign design software, fabrication methods, and industry materials.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Commitment to precision, safety, and high-quality workmanship.Physical capability to lift and handle materials in a production setting.
