Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing IndustryAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing company in Lubbock, TX. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of production machinery and facility equipment through installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. If you have hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in an industrial environment.Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and plant equipment.Perform emergency and scheduled repairs to minimize production downtime.Conduct preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing parts as needed.Read and interpret technical manuals and work orders for maintenance procedures.Utilize hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment.Perform additional maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and carpentry.Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 4 years in industrial maintenance or related fields.Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. An associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.Communication: Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.Mathematical Ability: Proficiency in basic mathematical concepts, including fractions, percentages, and measurements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders, and reach at various heights.Must have clear vision (close, distance, color, depth perception) and the ability to adjust focus.
