The Acquisition Logistics Engineer will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and managing lifecycle logistics for complex systems and equipment. This position is essential for ensuring optimal performance, supportability, and cost-effectiveness throughout the acquisition process. The ideal candidate has a background in logistics within the defense or aerospace industry and excels at cross-functional collaboration to support product lifecycles from development through decommissioning. Develop and implement acquisition logistics plans that address the full lifecycle of equipment and systems.Conduct logistics and supportability analyses to ensure systems meet operational needs.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to address logistics needs, including supply chain management, parts availability, and maintenance requirements.Create and maintain documentation, such as Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, and Training Plans.Ensure compliance with government and industry regulations and standards.Provide ongoing support and resolve logistics-related issues throughout the lifecycle of the product.Participate in program reviews, audits, and meetings to communicate logistics needs and make recommendations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.3+ years of experience in acquisition logistics, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.Familiarity with government acquisition processes, including DoD regulations and standards.Strong analytical skills and experience with logistics support analysis.Proficiency in logistics software and tools.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Security clearance or the ability to obtain one (if required). Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000.Health, dental, and vision insurance.
