Why This Sales Engineer Role Is a Smart Career Move Pay: Competitive salary based on experience Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Industry: Manufacturing, industrial services, engineering sales, and metal fabrication Location: Lubbock, TX – stable and growing company Culture: Professional, team-oriented, and customer-focused Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and paid holidays Key Responsibilities – Sales Engineer Client Relationship Management & Business Development Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business Build and maintain long-term client relationships to identify new project opportunities Communicate with clients regarding project requirements, timelines, and deliverables Technical Review & Project Coordination Review and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, material specifications, and technical requirements Collaborate with sales teams, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers to develop accurate RFQs and quotes Track project timelines, identify potential issues, and provide proactive solutions Match supplier capabilities with customer needs for manufacturing projects Quotation & RFQ Management Process RFQs, pricing updates, and quotations accurately and in a timely manner Maintain detailed records of quotes, follow up on outstanding proposals, and support the sales team in winning new business Coordinate new product introduction and oversee projects from purchase order to sample approval Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure project success Maintain accuracy of project information across all internal systems and documentation Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflow and improve customer satisfaction Qualifications – Who We’re Looking For Experience: 2–5 years in manufacturing sales, industrial project management, or engineering customer service Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Industry Knowledge: Experience with metals, alloys, CNC machining, foundry processes, or metal castings a plus Education: College degree preferred; High school diploma required Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable presenting technical information Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/MRP systems a plus Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed Able to stand, walk, and work at a computer for extended periods Apply Today – Sales Engineer | Lubbock, TX Take the next step in your career with a trusted leader in manufacturing and industrial engineering solutions.
