Do you enjoy creating engaging programs that help children and youth grow in their faith?The RoleMarine Corps Base Quantico Memorial Chapel is seeking a Protestant Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) to lead and coordinate educational programs for children and youth within the Protestant faith community.The successful candidate will work alongside chapel leadership to develop age-appropriate religious education programs, support volunteers, and coordinate activities that strengthen spiritual growth throughout the academic year.This is a part-time 1099 independent contractor position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Protestant religious education programs for Pre-K through 12th gradeCoordinate student registration and maintain program recordsRecruit, train, and support volunteer teachersCreate annual educational plans and ministry calendarsCoordinate children's church, Sunday school, Bible studies, and Awana programsAssist with Vacation Bible School planning and deliveryPromote programs and events within the chapel communityMaintain attendance records and program documentationSupport chapel leadership with ongoing faith formation initiatives The PersonTo be successful in this role, you will: Be of the Protestant faithHave a broad understanding of Protestant denominationsPossess experience in religious education, ministry, or faith formationBe comfortable leading volunteers and coordinating programsHave strong organizational and communication skillsBe proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsBe able to complete required background checks and youth protection training What’s NextIf you are ready to help build engaging and Christ-centered educational programs for military families, we encourage you to apply today.
