This organization is recognized for its precision engineering, innovative metalcasting processes, and long-term commitment to producing high-quality industrial components.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented mechanical or industrial engineer with a strong background in foundry operations, casting process development, and pattern design. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and optimize metal casting processes across various materials and alloys.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure parts meet performance and dimensional requirements.Troubleshoot casting defects, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including 3D models, blueprints, and engineering specifications.Estimate engineering costs and provide technical input for quotations and new product development.Support tooling and pattern design, ensuring quality and repeatability in production.Train internal teams on casting methodologies and quality standards.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, precision, and material integrity. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred).5+ years of experience in metal casting, foundry engineering, or process development.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and mold/pattern design.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.Willingness to travel occasionally for training or client support.
