Job Responsibilities – Construction Bookkeeper

• Construction Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Accurately manage A/P and A/R functions for multiple job sites and vendors
• Enter and track financial transactions using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Perform job costing, billing reconciliation, and vendor statement matching

Project and Office Financial Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate budget tracking
• Maintain precise documentation for audits, permits, and inspections
• Support payroll documentation and expense tracking

Data Management & Reporting

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Generate financial reports and summaries for stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Qualifications – Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (construction sector preferred)
• Proficiency in A/R, A/P, data entry, and financial reconciliation
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and document management systems
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and financial acumen
