Accountant – Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client financial positions.
• Maintain full compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulatory updates.
• Provide expert tax consulting and support across internal departments to align with business objectives.
• Research complex tax issues and deliver actionable recommendations to clients.
• Build, maintain, and manage a significant portfolio of client relationships.
• Conduct detailed account analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Efficiently manage all aspects of tax accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
• Expertise with tax accounting procedures and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal team interactions.
• Proficiency in tax software applications; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
