PURCHASING COORDINATORLubbock, TX | Full-Time | Monday–FridaySnelling is seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator for a well-established Lubbock manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented purchasing professional with experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing operations.The Purchasing Coordinator will manage purchase orders, work directly with domestic and international suppliers, monitor inventory needs, track shipments, and help ensure materials arrive accurately and on time to support production.RESPONSIBILITIES Create, review, maintain, and track purchase ordersCoordinate purchasing needs using MRP, forecasts, inventory levels, and production demandCommunicate with domestic and international suppliers regarding pricing, availability, shipping, and deliveryObtain and compare supplier quotes and maintain supplier pricingMonitor order status and expedite materials when necessaryTrack supplier shipments and resolve delivery or order discrepanciesReview and resolve supplier invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and shipping documentationMonitor supply levels and purchase maintenance, repair, and operating suppliesProvide purchasing updates to production and management QUALIFICATIONS 3–5 years of purchasing/procurement experienceManufacturing or industrial purchasing experience strongly preferredExperience with MRP systems, inventory planning, and purchase ordersKnowledge of metals, alloys, castings, or manufactured components is a plusStrong supplier communication and negotiation skillsExcellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detailStrong problem-solving and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and OutlookHigh school diploma required; college degree preferred APPLY TODAYIf you have experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, MRP, Inventory Management, Buyer/Purchasing, Vendor Management, or Manufacturing, apply today for immediate consideration.Questions?
