In this strategic role, you will guide the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide technology systems, with a focus on network performance, security, and business-aligned innovation.In addition to infrastructure leadership, this role now includes oversight and hands-on contributions to the client’s Drupal-based intranet, requiring web development and content management expertise.This is a full-time, permanent role based in Lubbock, TX, with relocation support available for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing IT team, including developers, system admins, analysts, and support specialists.Infrastructure & Systems: Ensure seamless operation of networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user systems. Lead infrastructure upgrades and preventive maintenance.Drupal Development: Maintain and enhance the company’s internal Drupal-based intranet site, including front-end updates, module integration, and backend customizations.Cybersecurity: Protect organizational data and systems by enhancing IT security protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Project Management: Lead technology initiatives from concept through execution, aligning IT projects with company goals and reporting progress to executive leadership.Budget & Vendor Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, prioritize initiatives, and oversee third-party vendor relationships.Strategic IT Vision: Collaborate with leadership to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions that support growth and operational efficiency.Data Management: Oversee data storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, Azure, AWS, or ITIL) are a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT teams and technology infrastructure.Strong hands-on experience with Drupal development (custom modules, themes, updates, CMS management).Proficient in systems administration, cloud environments, data security, and network architecture.Demonstrated success in managing IT projects and leading technical teams.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
