Consort Recruitment Services is seeking a diligent and skilled Mid-Level Developer / Tester to join our technical team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from £80,000 to £95,000.

As a Mid-Level Developer / Tester, you will develop and test software applications in order to meet the requirements and goals of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing, coding, and modifying applications, from layout to function and according to specifications.
• Creating and executing test scripts, identifying and resolving defects, and providing updates and feedback to the development team.
• Ensuring the quality of the software by creating and implementing effective strategies and test plans.
• Working closely with other team members to understand and meet the requirements of our clients.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks/systems.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
