This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking or lending professional who values a professional environment without the stuffy corporate feel.Our client is a smaller, relationship-driven bank with the friendly, down-to-earth culture West Texas is known for. They are looking for someone who will fit naturally into a close-knit organization while bringing a high level of professionalism, communication, accuracy, and follow-through to a critical support role.The Lending & Executive Assistant will work closely with bank executives and lending officers, providing both executive-level administrative support and hands-on lending support. This person will help keep loan documentation, customer communication, reporting, scheduling, and lending activity moving efficiently from initial request through closing and servicing.Previous banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience is strongly preferred. Professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills are essential.RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-level administrative and executive support to bank leadership and lending officersManage calendars, meetings, appointments, correspondence, reports, presentations, and follow-upAssist with commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation and loan filesGather and organize financial statements, tax returns, credit information, collateral documentation, and other required lending materialsPrepare and maintain loan packages throughout underwriting, approval, closing, and fundingMonitor loan pipelines, outstanding documentation, approvals, conditions, renewals, maturities, and deadlinesCoordinate with customers, lenders, loan operations, credit administration, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and other outside partnersReview loan files for accuracy and completeness and proactively follow up on missing informationAssist with loan renewals, modifications, payoffs, and servicing activitiesPrepare lending pipeline reports, portfolio reports, activity summaries, and other management reportingServe as a polished, responsive point of contact for customers and business partnersMaintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive customer, financial, and bank informationSupport lending compliance, internal controls, audits, examinations, and documentation requestsAnticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and ensure important details and deadlines do not fall through the cracks QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience preferredPrevious experience supporting lending functions and working with loan documentation strongly preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProfessional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer-service skillsExcellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential matters with discretionStrong follow-through and the ability to work proactively with minimal oversightProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelComfortable working in a smaller, collaborative environment where teamwork, flexibility, and personal accountability matter PAY & BENEFITS $48,000–$60,000/year, based on lending/banking experienceFull-time, Monday–Friday scheduleAnnual bonus opportunityExcellent employee benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-paid employee life insuranceGenerous paid time off, vacation, and sick leaveDollar-for-dollar employer-matched savings planStable, long-term opportunity with an established West Texas financial institutionClose-knit, professional work environment with a friendly, down-to-earth culture WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys banking and lending but prefers a smaller, relationship-focused organization where people know one another and your contribution is noticed.You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, support important lending relationships, and become a trusted part of an established West Texas banking team.
