LENDING & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Lubbock, TX | $48,000–$60,000/year | Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Snelling is seeking an experienced Lending & Executive Assistant for a well-established, locally focused financial institution in Lubbock. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking or lending professional who values a professional environment without the stuffy corporate feel.
Our client is a smaller, relationship-driven bank with the friendly, down-to-earth culture West Texas is known for. They are looking for someone who will fit naturally into a close-knit organization while bringing a high level of professionalism, communication, accuracy, and follow-through to a critical support role.
The Lending & Executive Assistant will work closely with bank executives and lending officers, providing both executive-level administrative support and hands-on lending support. This person will help keep loan documentation, customer communication, reporting, scheduling, and lending activity moving efficiently from initial request through closing and servicing.
Previous banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience is strongly preferred. Professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to bank leadership and lending officers
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, correspondence, reports, presentations, and follow-up
- Assist with commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation and loan files
- Gather and organize financial statements, tax returns, credit information, collateral documentation, and other required lending materials
- Prepare and maintain loan packages throughout underwriting, approval, closing, and funding
- Monitor loan pipelines, outstanding documentation, approvals, conditions, renewals, maturities, and deadlines
- Coordinate with customers, lenders, loan operations, credit administration, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and other outside partners
- Review loan files for accuracy and completeness and proactively follow up on missing information
- Assist with loan renewals, modifications, payoffs, and servicing activities
- Prepare lending pipeline reports, portfolio reports, activity summaries, and other management reporting
- Serve as a polished, responsive point of contact for customers and business partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive customer, financial, and bank information
- Support lending compliance, internal controls, audits, examinations, and documentation requests
- Anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and ensure important details and deadlines do not fall through the cracks
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of banking, lending, loan administration, executive support, or financial services experience preferred
- Previous experience supporting lending functions and working with loan documentation strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential matters with discretion
- Strong follow-through and the ability to work proactively with minimal oversight
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfortable working in a smaller, collaborative environment where teamwork, flexibility, and personal accountability matter
PAY & BENEFITS
- $48,000–$60,000/year, based on lending/banking experience
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
