CNC / AUTOMATED TRIM MACHINE OPERATORPay: $18.00–$25.00/hr DOE + Overtime PLUS $2.00/hr Raise After Successful 90-Day Evaluation Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift Location: Lubbock, TXABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Snelling is recruiting a CNC / Automated Trim Machine Operator for a well-established Lubbock manufacturer. We are seeking candidates with experience in CNC machine operation, Beck Automation, sheet metal fabrication, metal roofing/trim production, press brakes, folders, roll forming, or other computer-controlled manufacturing equipment. Direct Beck Automation experience is highly desirable but NOT required. If you have CNC or automated machine experience and understand machine setup, measurements, computerized controls, and production processes, we want to talk to you.The company is willing to train the right mechanically inclined candidate. Starting pay is based on experience and the amount of training required. RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate automated trim/fabrication machineryUse computerized machine controls and touchscreen interfaces to generate and modify partsRead work orders, cut lists, measurements, and production specificationsAdjust machine settings to meet production requirementsProduce metal trim and fabricated components to specificationAccurately use tape measures and other measuring instrumentsInspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracyTroubleshoot minor machine and production issuesLoad and handle sheet metal and production materialsPerform basic preventative maintenance and equipment cleaningFollow established safety procedures and maintain production goals QUALIFICATIONS CNC, automated machine, metal fabrication, or industrial equipment experience preferredBeck Automation experience is a major plusMetal roofing, trim folder, press brake, roll forming, or sheet metal experience is highly desirableAbility to accurately read a tape measure, including fractionsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsComfortable operating computerized machine controlsAbility to read specifications and production instructionsDetail-oriented and quality focusedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsForklift or overhead crane experience is a plus PAY & ADVANCEMENT $18.00–$25.00/hr DOE + OvertimeCandidates with direct CNC, Beck Automation, automated fabrication, or metal forming experience may qualify toward the upper end of the starting range.Successful 90-day evaluation = $2.00/hr raise, with additional $2.00–$3.00/hr advancement potential as proficiency and responsibilities increase.BENEFITS Paid Holidays & VacationMedical & Dental InsuranceLife InsuranceSIMPLE IRA With Company MatchProfit Sharing This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC or machine operator to transfer their skills into specialized automated fabrication — or for someone with direct metal roofing/trim equipment experience to step into a role where that knowledge is highly valued.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
