Pay: $20.00/hour to start (temp-to-hire; increase upon conversion)

About the Role
Our client is adding a detail-driven professional to own day-to-day Accounts Payable while supporting front desk operations. If you’re confident with invoice processing, vendor communications, and Excel—and you enjoy being the steady, friendly face of the office—this role offers a clear path to hire and a pay bump at conversion.
What You’ll Do
- Accounts Payable (Primary):
- Enter, code, and route invoices; verify approvals and GL accuracy
- Match invoices to POs/receivers; reconcile statements; research discrepancies
- Prepare weekly check/ACH runs; maintain accurate vendor files and W-9s
- Track due dates to ensure on-time payments and early-pay opportunities
- Light Accounting Support:
- Assist with AP aging, accruals, and month-end prep as needed
- Maintain organized digital files and audit-ready documentation
- Front Desk & Administrative Support:
- Greet visitors, answer/direct calls, manage mail and deliveries
- Maintain lobby supplies, conference room readiness, and general office flow
- Provide document formatting, scanning, and data entry support for the team
What You’ll Bring
- 1–3+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience in a busy, multi-vendor environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (filters, sorting, lookups/basic formulas, pivots a plus)
- Familiarity with an accounting/ERP system (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
- Great communication with vendors and internal stakeholders; calm and professional at the front desk
- High accuracy, organization, and follow-through in a fast-moving setting
