Service Technician Level 2Location: Lubbock Texas Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Occasional overtime & weekendsJob SummaryOur client is looking for a top-notch Service Technician Level 2 to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on buses, trucks, and commercial vehicles per manufacturer standards.Diagnose issues and complete work orders accurately and efficiently.Communicate with the parts department to order necessary components.Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.Document all work in NetSuite using the 3C method (Concern, Cause, Correction).Provide road service calls as needed.Maintain a clean and safe workspace and comply with safety regulations.Stay current on required certifications and training. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training preferred.3+ years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.2+ years of experience in electrical diagnostics and repair. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions.Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.Work in a fast-paced environment with potential loud noise levels.
