COMMERCIAL LINES INSURANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Full-Time | On-Site | Lubbock, TX
Salary: $50,000 – $80,000 annually (DOE) + Full Benefits
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Snelling is partnering with a premier, long-standing, independently owned insurance agency to identify an experienced and service-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager. This role is ideal for a licensed commercial insurance professional who enjoys managing client relationships, handling renewals, and serving as a trusted advisor while collaborating closely with producers to support business growth and retention.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Client & Account Management
- Independently manage an established book of commercial insurance accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and guidance
- Maintain proactive communication to support client satisfaction and retention
Policy & Coverage Management
- Negotiate new business and renewal terms with insurance carriers, MGAs, and underwriters
- Secure appropriate coverage and pricing based on client needs and risk exposures
- Review policies, endorsements, contracts, and certificates of insurance for accuracy and compliance
- Clearly communicate subjectivities, exclusions, and coverage differences to insureds
Renewals, Marketing & Cross-Selling
- Market accounts and negotiate renewals to obtain optimal coverage and pricing
- Identify gaps in coverage and recommend additional products to round out accounts
- Support producers by preparing submissions, coverage specifications, and renewal strategies
Operations & Compliance
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain policies and account documentation
- Manage endorsements, audits, billing discrepancies, and coverage inquiries
- Maintain suspense and ensure timely follow-up on all account activity
- Supervise and guide Client Services Representatives, as applicable
Industry Knowledge & Professional Development
- Stay current on commercial insurance trends, carrier appetites, and regulatory changes
- Utilize industry knowledge to advise clients as exposures evolve
- Commit to ongoing education and professional development
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications
- Current Commercial Lines Account Management experience
- Active insurance license (required)
- Minimum of 1+ years of commercial insurance experience
- High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
Preferred Experience & Credentials
- Experience managing large property or complex commercial accounts
- Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ACSR, or CISR
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $50,000 – $80,000 annual salary (DOE)
