Accounting Manager – Multi-Location Accounting | QuickBooks Enterprise Expert

Salary: $75,000+ annually (commensurate with experience)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with state tax regulations, and manage financial activities across multiple business locations. This direct-hire role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with advanced QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise skills and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-entity financial operations.
You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, including monthly general ledger entries, multi-state sales tax filings, and bank reconciliations, while also providing oversight for office management functions. • Salary: $75,000+ annually, based on experience and skill set

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full accounting operations for headquarters, a sub-office, two dispatch offices, and two technician-only sites
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, and Check Runs for multiple companies
• Prepare and post monthly General Ledger entries, including inventory adjustments, depreciation, and amortization
• Calculate, prepare, and file Texas Sales Tax returns; familiarity with New Mexico and Oklahoma sales tax a plus
• Coordinate receipts, payments, and intercompany transactions across all locations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide oversight of office management functions and collaborate on operational improvements
• Work with IT resources (basic IT knowledge a plus) to enhance processes and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting leadership role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Edition
• Skilled in managing multi-location or multi-entity accounting operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience; leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
