Job Responsibilities – Counter Sales Associate (Plumbing Supplies)

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, identifying needs and recommending products
• Accurately process sales transactions and orders in the system
• Provide technical information and solutions for plumbing-related projects
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Order Processing & Inventory Management

• Maintain organized product displays at the sales counter
• Pull and prepare orders for customers promptly and accurately
• Check stock levels and assist with ordering replenishment items
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management

Product Knowledge & Recommendations

• Stay informed on plumbing products, parts, and installation methods
• Suggest complementary or alternative products to meet customer needs
• Offer basic troubleshooting advice for plumbing-related issues

Qualifications – Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous plumbing supply sales, counter sales, or wholesale/retail sales experience preferred
• Knowledge: Familiarity with plumbing parts, tools, and supplies
• Customer Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accurate order entry
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory look-up
