Position Overview
In this hybrid role, you will ensure the efficient delivery of materials to local customers while supporting warehouse operations. From operating forklifts to maintaining an organized workspace, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate company-provided Bobtail Trucks to deliver products to customers in Lubbock, Wolfforth, and Abernathy areas.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading/unloading equipment.
- Verify incoming materials against vendor packing lists, reporting discrepancies when necessary.
- Stage and store materials efficiently based on inventory turnover and storage requirements.
- Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard area.
- Adhere to all safety and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) security protocols.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1 year of forklift operation in a warehouse or shop environment (Class I, IV, V, or VII).
- License: A valid Class A Driver's License.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Tolerate varying outdoor conditions, including heat, wind, and rain.
