Accountant / Bookkeeper

Our growing manufacturing client company in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team. This full-cycle accounting role offers stability, a collaborative environment, and strong potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), journal entries, and financial statements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, and complete month-end close.
• Support accrual-based accounting processes and assist with job costing.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Operate independently and take initiative in supporting accounting and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; Associate degree with 3+ years of accounting experience considered.
• Proficiency with accounting software; ERP system experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and job costing is highly desired.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work across several departments.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000–$60,000+ based on experience
