Order Taker

A luxury hotel in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a courteous and detail-oriented Order Taker to join its Room Service team. The Order Taker will be responsible for receiving guest food and beverage orders, accurately processing requests, and coordinating timely delivery with the room service team. Responsibilities

• Answer room service calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Accurately take guest food and beverage orders, ensuring all details are recorded.
• Coordinate with kitchen and room service staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Respond to guest inquiries about menu items, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
• Provide guests with information about hotel amenities and services as needed.
• Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and promptly escalate to a supervisor if necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
