Bilingual Teacher Aide in Houston, Tx, Tx

Consort Recruitment Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Teacher Aide to assist in supporting students in a multilingual classroom environment. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support students who speak multiple languages, help facilitate communication, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in classroom activities, translating and explaining materials as needed for bilingual students.
• Support students in their understanding of academic content and classroom instructions.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students in both English and [Second Language].
• Help create a welcoming environment for students and encourage engagement and participation.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers and educational staff.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff in both languages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in education or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and [Second Language, e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.].
• Prior experience in a classroom or educational setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work with children.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
