Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials within the warehouse and yard. From operating forklifts to maintaining accurate inventory, you will play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and yard
• Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and report discrepancies
• Stage, organize, and store materials based on inventory needs and turnover
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety standards and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) compliance protocols

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment (Class I, IV, V, or VII preferred)
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, including heat, wind, and varying weather conditions
