Pay: $65,042–$76,398 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Full-time, On-site

About the Role

Snelling is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a respected healthcare organization in Lubbock, Texas. This role supports the organization’s financial operations by preparing detailed analyses and reports, maintaining accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.

This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys balancing hands-on work with process improvement and wants to make an impact in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reconciliations.
• Review general ledger transactions and ensure accounting accuracy.
• Support audits and maintain internal controls.
• Recommend process improvements for greater efficiency.
• May train or mentor accounting team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of governmental or nonprofit accounting standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
