Salary: $41,600–$52,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

Snelling is seeking a Staff Development Trainer for a well-respected healthcare organization in Lubbock. This role supports all new and current employees by coordinating required training, teaching essential in-person courses, and ensuring compliance across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching adults, keeping training organized, and helping new employees feel supported. Individuals with classroom teaching experience—especially those transitioning out of education—are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do

• Lead New Employee Orientation (NEO) and guide new hires through required onboarding steps.
• Teach and certify employees in SAMA, CPR, First Aid/BLS, and Van Driving.
• Assign, track, and follow up on required online training in Relias and HRIS systems.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Prepare training calendars, schedules, and classroom setups.
• Communicate with supervisors to ensure training deadlines are met.
• Support volunteer onboarding and training documentation.

Future opportunities may include helping develop new training content, enhancing culture-focused orientation, and supporting manager development initiatives as the training program grows.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching or training adults is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to keep learners engaged and manage a classroom setting.
• Comfortable with both administrative tasks and physical instruction.
• Must be able to obtain instructor certifications (CPR/First Aid, SAMA, Van Driving).
• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to pass required screenings.

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: $41,600–$52,000 (based on experience)
